Dr. Rafeh Al-Hameed is a pediatric specialist with over 23 years of experience in diagnosing and treating children’s and newborns’ diseases. He has worked in numerous prestigious hospitals and health centers, holding several leadership positions, including Head of the Pediatrics Department at the Maternity and Children’s Hospital in Deir ez-Zor. He has also served as a pediatrician at the Military Hospital, specialized health centers, and his private clinic.
Dr. Rafeh is highly skilled in neonatal care, malnutrition management, and newborn resuscitation, having received advanced training in these fields. He has completed specialized courses in neonatal resuscitation at Damascus hospitals and has expertise in managing acute malnutrition. Additionally, he is a certified trainer in Syria’s Ministry of Health programs for malnutrition management and neonatal care and has participated in numerous medical and scientific conferences.
He holds the Syrian Board Certificate in Pediatrics and advanced certifications from the Syrian Ministry of Health, in addition to a Pediatrics Specialist Certificate since 1999. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Medicine from Aleppo University, reflecting his strong academic background.
