Dr. Hamdi Takriti holds an impressive array of qualifications and professional experiences in the field of ophthalmology. His credentials include a fellowship in vitreo-retinal surgery in KSA, coupled with a two-year training period in the vitreo-retinal department at Magrabi Eye Hospital in Jeddah. He successfully passed the ICO exam in Cambridge in 2001, exempting him from the basic sciences, optic, and refraction exam of the international council of Ophthalmology, equivalent to section A of the FRCS exam. Additionally, Dr. Takriti obtained a Diploma in Ophthalmology from the Ministry of Health in Syria in 2000, passing two annual exams with distinction, and receiving authorization for Ophthalmological practicing in Syria the same year. He earned an MD degree from Damascus University, School of Medicine in 1994, achieving a notable score of 70.2%. Dr. Takriti’s professional journey encompasses roles as an ophthalmologist at Eye and Ear Specialist Hospital and Dar Alshifaa Hospital in Damascus, Syria, from January 2001 to June 2012.
